What do I need to play?
Two devices (one as the Recorder on a tripod, one as the Display), a stick, a puck or ball, and a surface to stickhandle on. See how it works for the full list.
How much does PuckLab cost?
PuckLab is free to play for 15 minutes a day, with every game. PuckLab Pro is per player: CA$9.99 a month or CA$99.99 a year, with unlimited play, leaderboards, XP and stats. See pricing.
Setup and tracking
Which pucks and balls work?
Any puck, green puck, Xenopuck, tennis ball, golf ball, or hockey ball can be used!
Why does the Recorder get warm or lose battery?
Puck tracking works the phone hard. Keep it plugged in while you play.
Pairing devices
Do both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi?
Yes. The Recorder and the Display pair over your home network. Enter the PIN the Display shows on the Recorder.
Account and players
Can my whole family use one account?
Yes. One account holds a player profile for each family member, so every kid keeps their own scores. PuckLab Pro is per player.
I deleted my account by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes, within 30 days. Sign in with the same email and choose Restore account.
PuckLab Pro and billing
How do I cancel PuckLab Pro?
In the app: Profile → Manage. Pro runs until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes, from Profile → Manage. Moving to annual starts right away; moving to monthly starts at your renewal.
Is there a family discount?
Yes. Each player has their own Pro so their stats and leaderboard places stay their own, and every Pro player after the first on your account is 25% off. The discount is applied automatically at checkout when another player on your account already has Pro.
What if a payment fails?
Pro pauses until it goes through. Update your card in the app under Profile → Fix payment.
Can I use a promotion code or a friend's referral code?
Yes. Add a promotion code at checkout. When a friend goes Pro with your friend code, you both get a free month.
Privacy and safety
Does the camera record or upload video?
No. The Recorder finds the puck on the device itself, frame by frame. No video is recorded or uploaded.
Are there ads?
No. There are no ads in PuckLab, free or Pro.
